As I'm in Santa Maria, BORED OUT OF Y MIND!! Without Jason around a lot, and stuck with my parents and no job, even when I'm looking for one. I ended up cleaning my parents home. Been lazy, visited San Jose here and there and then also planned our wedding. Which is pretty hard, but even harder when you are planning it in Idaho when the wedding will be in California. Oh and also we were trying to sell my Jetta. No luck in California, but we did sell it in Idaho. Yay for us!!

Great friend, Dave one day asked me what I've been up to and that we should meet up before Jason comes to California. Which we were all planning for him to arrive April 6th 2012. Right after winter semester finals. We made the date the day after I returned from San Jose, as I saw two of my best friends, Katie and Kimbri!! Kimbri had randomly wanted to come to San Jose when she found out that I was driving to San Jose. YAY!! Also it was my last time getting to see the house that I grew up in (1st  grade till 2010) Because we were trying to sell the house, down size. My parents taking over my grandparent's home. My grandmother had just recently past away actually. I was hoping Jason was able to come to the funeral, but he couldn't. But at least he did meet her when he came to California the last time he was there.

So Dave asked for us to hang out before Jason comes to California. We met up in Pismo Beach, that's in between Santa Maria and San Louis, Obispo (where he's staying) Jason knew that I was going to spend time with Dave. Now March 30th, Jason kept texting me saying that he is so excited more me; every time I bring up hanging out with Dave. There's nothing too exciting for me hanging out with Dave. Then other texts through out the day from Jason was just a bit odd....

When I met up with Dave off of the pier of Pismo Beach we just walked to the edge. I was taking my sweet time. It was just after the sunset. Dave told me that he wanted to see it with me (little did I know that he was meaning something totally different) I saw an otter in the ocean near by, Dave kept telling me that it was a diver. It so wasn't a diver!! Dave kept trying to get me to the edge of the pier. Me not thinking anything of it. We we got to the edge, there were people next to us. We talked for a little bit, then Dave said something and gave me a hug, a LONG hug. I even tried backing away from him when it was getting too long. But then I heard my name.

"Kendra......
(I was thinking, who the heck!!??? I haven't heard that voice before, also it has been months since I've even heard him in person)

It was Jason down on one knee.

WHAT THE HECK!!!

"Kendra Gayle Sloan, I want to marry you, will you marry me?!!"
