1 Month Old

Stats: 7 Pounds 14 Ounces. 21 in a half inches Long.

Eating: She is breastfed and can take a bottle easily. She doesn’t care if it’s warm or cold-she eats it perfectly fine. She eats every time she wakes up from her naps every 2 in a half hours; just about. During the night, she will wake up once or twice to eat. She eats for about 15 mins. Used to be for an hour, then we stopped that recently. It took her about 2 days to actually notice something different and now she will eat faster and will be satisfied until her next feeding.

Sleeping: Emily takes multiple naps throughout the day and had no trouble sleeping at night. We start getting ready for bed about 9 to 10PM and she will sleep at 10/11PM. She normally wakes up at 4AM to eat a bit more and goes right back to sleep. Unless she’s very tired and will sleep through out the whole night and wakes up about 7AM.

Mood: We are incredibly lucky to have a happy and healthy baby. She is perfectly content 95% of the day. She can be cranky most days; which isn’t as bad as I’ve seen other babies. She normally makes fussy noises. Whenever she does cry it's when she's taking a bath and when she just wants more food (when I had just given her food) We are still learning. I can't feed her for an hour or two; I have things to do. Plus more than half of the time she is just "playing" with her food or she's there for comfort.

Clothes: She is still in newborn clothes, but one of her jammies are getting shorter; only on the arms and legs. She’s just getting taller. She doesn’t quite fit into the 0-3 Months yet though.

Diapers: Still in Newborn

Development: She has been smiling a lot, and not just when she's half asleep anymore-she's actually smiling at us, and I've noticed some trying to laughs in some of those smiles. She can roll from her tummy to her back. She's done it a few times and we even caught it on camera!

Likes: Being held, walks in her stroller, morning exercise with daddy, swaddled, eating and sleeping

Dislikes: Pacifiers (but now we have found one that she will take, but still doesn’t like them) Baths

Nicknames: Em, Sleeping Beauty, Pumpkin

I am: A happy and proud mamma. I love Emily so much and she has been such an amazing trooper and learns so quickly. She has been on a schedule since week 1. I haven’t had a breakdown (yet)

Daddy: Has been huge help. He truly loves his little girl, and I am so excited to see her grow up and continue to melt her daddy’s heart over and over again.

Other: Emily had her first babysitter (Zoe, one of my young women girls) she had her for 3 hours, with amazing help from her mom.
