Eatings: Eats great and is well fed, isn't needy like she used to be. Very grateful for that, because it was hard to go out and do things; when all she wanted was food. I try and have a bottle of pumped milk just in case, and normally she doesn't take it. But I do save those bottles, mostly for Jason for the evenings just before bed.
Sleeps: Still sleeps through out the night. Goes to bed about 9PM wakes up about 4AM (only once a week) or 6AM. I feed her, then back to sleep again. I do put her back to sleep at 6AM, because she is still tired and then she wakes back up at about 7 or 8AM. Then she will take her morning nap 9-11AM. Then through out the day it just varies. Her evening nap is a lot shorter lately, which means we've started to put her to bed about 8 to 8:30PM now. She will sleep for about half an hour to an hour and wakes up again (only happened 3 nights in a row so far) It's getting a bit better though. She's learning.
Her Bedtime Routine-We start going up to start her bath between 8:30 and 9PM (in the past month , not counting the past 3 nights) We give her a bath, then put lotion on her, PJ's, sleep sack and her beanie. Then daddy has a bottle of pumped milk, feeds her, burps her (3 times) While he's doing that; I clean up and then we have family prayer. Then eventually when she's close enough to fall in deep sleep he puts her in her crib.
Me: Been doing great; 8 weeks post-partum and running when it's not snowing, but mostly I've been working out at home. No depression and happy as can be. Just sucks when Jason is gone longer than 5 hours. Like this weekend I barely got to see him, because he was busy with other things.
Jason: One amazing father and I wouldn't have asked for anyone different. He's perfectly imperfect and Emily just loves him!! She even cried like crazy when he had to leave for the millionth time during the weekend. She missed him.
OTHER:
-She knows who her mommy and daddy is
-Wearing 0-3 Clothing, just barely now.
-Can still wear newborn diapers. Last weekend, we tried size one but it leaked pee. Luckily she didn't poop while we were in Utah and I didn't have the newborn diapers. But we went back to the size 1 and she's been doing great with them now. No pee or poop blow-outs.
-Loves bath time, laughs whenever I play with her ducky. She laughs every time it makes a sound under the water. We spend some time playing in the bath before getting out. She used to cry outside of the bath, but lately she's just been chill.
-Raises her one eyebrow like mommy does.
-Knows when daddy isn't around, doesn't like taking her naps in her crib.
-Loves it when daddy puts her to bed.
-Drools like crazy.
-Talks all the time.
-Loves it when I mimic whatever she 'says' and just laughs.
-Loves her giraffe when I squeak it.
-Can now hold her own head up by herself.
-Loves looking out of her carseat while driving or just out and about, she fusses when her carseat cover is down.
-Finally growing her hair back again, still has hair like Grandpa Sloan.
-Loves smiling at people and can focus well on people and things.
-She normally does her cough laugh, but she has laughed her first actual laugh.
