Baby is the size of a Pomegranate
Weight Gain: 5 Pounds total
Movement: I feel more kicks than movements now, but baby cakes is kicking harder, and I just have to feel him/her every morning and every evening, even though it's mostly asleep every evening and during the night so Jason and I don't get the chance to feel him/her kick. It's still great feeling the kicks though!!
Feeling: Good, always tired in the morning and afternoon till about 5PM then I tend to have more energy, like crazy energy, running around and hyper.
Sleep: Been sleeping wonderfully, I should actually get up to go to the bathroom though. I just hold it till the morning, I hate getting up in the middle of the night. I have to get on this schedule that I created though, so that I will get used to waking up in the middle of the night to feed our little one.
Food: Lately, I've been slightly picky like just last night these burgers just didn't agree with me, maybe it was the way it cooked or something; or I wasn't used to the way that Jason does it, because we had some hamburgers at home and I was totally fine. I can't eat too much in one day though, I've made food all 3 meals for the past couple days and I am just stuffed at the end of the day, even Jason is as well. I guess that's a good thing though.
Not much cravings; except Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake and Half Baked. I've had the strawberry cheesecake back at home and always loved it, then discovered Half Baked, and it's heavenly!!
Clothes: I'm starting to out grow my clothes. On Sunday I was wearing an outfit and I NEEDED my belly band, but sometimes the belly band won't work, even for my jeans anymore. It'll end up moving a lot and I am constantly having to make sure nothing it showing. Luckily I got a new outfit for Mother's Day. Jason knew just what I needed!!
Baby Items: I got an newborn bottle for Mother's Day, it's one of the $400 worth of free samples that Jason got me for Mother's Day!!
Best Moment this Week: Mother's Day and getting more cute gifts from my amazing husband!!
Looking Forward to: My Appointment on Tuesday!! We get to see our baby cakes!!!
Truthfully after having Hudson for almost 5 months now, I wouldn't try starting to get yourself on any sort of a schedule for waking up at night. You never know how your baby will be and their sleeping habits change so quickly. We got lucky with a baby that pretty much started out only getting up every 3 hours instead of every 2 like a lot of babies. Some nights were better and some were worse, but you never know exactly when the baby will be up. Just get up when the baby wakes and you will be fine :)
ReplyDeleteright now, my schedule is just waking up 2 time during the night, so I can wake up in the middle of the night. I know once our baby is born, it'll have it's own schedule, but at the same time, keeping on their schedule, as in keeping up with it, then it works wonders.
