General Conference

First week in April, Jason and I had the opportunity to go out to Salt Lake City and go to a live session at General Conference. Since we both were working Saturday, we left early Sunday morning. Jason had worked late that night, so I ended up driving all the way to Salt Lake. As we drove to Utah, we listened to the first Sunday session. Before arriving, my cousin had invited us for lunch. Jason had met my cousin Brandy for the first time and we had both met her husband for the first time. It was great getting to see her again. Last time I had seen her was before she left on her mission, which was-I want to say beginning of 2010. It has been a long while!!

First time at General Conference together

The picture below was 2 years ago, January 2012 when we were dating. Went to Idaho for the first time to meet his family and second family. Jason had this whole day planned on walking around temple square and went and did every session possible, except sealings (we promised each other not to do it until we get married)

Afterwards we decided to go to our friend's house for dinner, well we found out that Dave was in Salt Lake for a Bee's Game!! So we went over and visited with him. Got some free tickets there and watched the game, we started for more than half the game. They lost, but it was still a fantastic game!! Thanks Dave for giving us the best seats AND even stay in one of the suits later in the evening. We just wanted to see you and talk, but we got something extra. A lot of firsts that day.
