Spending Money and a Spiritual Moment

Don't worry we aren't in debt. Since I am now at work and Jason just got paid from the past month of being at harvest we got a lot more extra money to spend.

  • A car for Jason (Not the car that he actually wanted, just a cute little white car that he can drive around while I'm at work; 1991 Honda Civic)
  • Mac Computer for Jason
  • A New Dress and some Jewelry (For myself and for the cruise, I won't be showing Jason until that night when I'll be wearing it!!)
  • One of the Brides got her Wedding Dress (We aren't spending that money, but she did and she literally teared up once she walked out for her family to see. Her mother, her sister, niece, her grandmother, her mother in-law, and sister in-law ALL came to see) I too teared up seeing her in that dress. I will give her mother the credit for choosing that dress and for my awesome co-worker for helping me out.
Other than all that, Jason and I are going to be fall cleaning in our apartment.
Organizing each room, replacing our outlets that don't quite work anymore with the tannish color to new working white outlets and switches!! My husband started on it while I was at work on Saturday and I can't wait to see the outcome of everything when it's all finished.

Another thing that happened during the weekend, was that I helped a very special friend of mine. Ever since she moved into the apartment, my husband and I told each other that there is a reason why she came into my life. I LOVE helping her and I LOVE having her help me. When I met her she was 8 months pregnant, now her daughter is about 4 or 5 months old. I can never stop helping her out. Whenever my husband sees that there's something wrong or sees that I'm going to help someone, he doesn't hesitate to tell me "Go help!" Well I did just that!! After Sacrament at church yesterday, I saw that she was needing help (she doesn't like asking for help, but I see her and I know that she needs help) My husband even sees her and helps her also, with words of wisdom!

Side note: My husband and I LOVE to help people!!

So I saw that she is babysitting a 4 or 5 year old girl and literally she is attached to my friend. I told her that I got everything taken care of. She literally needs a break. It was tough at first, but she was perfectly fine in Primary with my friend's husband. I had to give her some starburst and promised her chocolate milk afterwards, but it worked.

Then I saw that she still needs help, so I went to go look for our bishop, before he got realesed (we got a new bishopric) Once I found him, I was filled with the spirit and started crying. How much I care about my friend, I told him that my friend needs to talk to you. So they talked, as I took her daughter, she was being very fussy. But after walking around the church, she calmed down and fell right to sleep. I then joined class with my husband, went to the first half of the 3rd hour of class. Got out, because she woke up and starting to get cranky and hungry. Well her mother was still talking to the bishop, yet the little girl was still being patient. Once my friend got out she told me pretty much everything that she talked to the bishop with. I love her deeply and I will never stop helping her out. She is younger than me and has a child, but she sure is living strong and also doesn't stop to help other people too. I also do know that she talked to her bishop about pretty much everything that she has been feeling and felt a lot better!! She didn't do anything bad, but she needed someone to talk to and I knew that the bishop was the right person to talk to. Very spiritual Sunday that I had.
