August's Monthly Goal-Recap

So last week I have made a Goal to make meals and have food ready out for my husband. There have been some good days and yet some bad days.

I have succeed in my goal so far this month. Which I am very happy about, but it was actually a bit hard.

Good things about it:

  • My husband is happy that I made him something.
  • My husband doesn't have to worry about food.
  • The food is all ready for him to eat right after he is done with work or he when he is taking a break from work-out in the yard.
Bad things that had happened:
  • My husband sometimes would come take over...
  • I had burnt the food. Whoops! Like for example, last night.
(*I burnt the chicken. *Burnt the cookies-which wasn't my job in the first place, my friend came over and wanted to bake cookies, well she was out getting some things at her place and I put her daughter down for a nap. Forgot the cookies, whoops. *Burnt the sauce that goes in with the noodles. Yeah it just wasn't my day)
  • Jason would be at work and I get lazy and not wanting to make food.
Luckily for the rest of the week I don't have to worry about making food, since we will be out of town in Utah with my in-laws and will be at USANA Convention. Oh how excited I am!!!! Next month, Jason won't be around much at all, cause Harvest will be taking over his life. Good thing about that-more free potatoes!!! Thanks to my second in-laws ;) I will be learning a lot about potatoes. I've gone through the tour of how they are bagged and ready to be stored, but I don't know about harvesting. So Jason will be taking me out for some rides on the tractor. I'm excited for that!!

How has your monthly goals been like so far? (if you've made some)

  1. Haha, I think your bad things are ok because it shows that you are trying!!!!! :) And I understand being lazy about making food. We've pretty much eaten out for 2 1/2 weeks straight at this point, but I have a good excuse.... sort of!!! good job on your goal! Keep it up!!! :)

    1. Everyone makes mistakes, it's all about how we handle those mistakes that matters. Do we just give up and think negative thoughts about ourselves or do we just brush it off and move forward. :)

  2. I love your blog! I love that your trying to make food for your husband, that is the cutest thing! I am not much of a cook either, i like to think I am when I pin all these recipes on Pinterest, but when it comes down to me making them. It is a disaster!

    1. Yeah, it's hard, but worth it. Also the things that we are good at today--we were once bad with it, we just had to practice with it and grow.
