Trip to California and more

Updating!!
One day as Jason and I were driving to his work, we see this...It's one of the wings of the windmill on top of those hills/mountains that we always see. Yeah they are huge!!

Jason, Andy and I went up in the mountains to 1) Snowboard and 2) To get a wonderful small Christmas Tree. For free....shhh, weren't really suppost to do it. But it became a wonderful Christmas tree for us in our warm and cozy home. We are still using it, even when it's after Christmas.

The Klingler Christmas tree of 2012!!

Some of the decorations that we put onto our Christmas tree. I'm glad that we got one :)

ROAD TRIP!!

This picture above kinds just blinded us. It was very very bright!! lol

LAS VEGAS!
So Jason and I stayed the night over in Las Vegas at Tresure Island and well just walked around and had some fun.

Walking from the Cosmopolitan to Circus Circus just so we could watch a circus. Which turns out it wasn't even a real circus. It was really cold outside and I couldn't even feel my toes. We ate some food and went on our way, we should have driven our car, but we weren't thinking at the time. So our walk was not worth it, but Jason did take some pictures and we did see the Bellagio show which was amazing!!

We stayed in the Treasure Island hotel which in fact was so wonderful!! Jason never snored or grind his teeth once!! Plus we both slept all through the night and we were very refreshed to get on the road again!
Before we did, we did a little something for the maids who clean up the rooms.
Never got to see the maids reaction, but I hope she got scared.

Our trip to Santa Maria-we stopped by to have lunch with Dave! His wife was at work so we weren't able to see her. Then we stopped in Acton and visited Kailie and Kelsie and then Emily and her brothers. Which was all fun and games.

My step mom wanted to go out to San Jose the following day that Jason and I arrived in Santa Maria. Even though we were both so tired we didn't want to go, but I caved in, I drove most of the way and Jason drove for the last hour.Thank goodness!! Made it to San Jose and visited my sister and her family, my brothers and of course my best friend Katie!! Which was a bit of a hassle trying to figure out where she is! We went to the wrong place and so forth, but we did meet up and Katie even got me a book!! I have not read it yet, since 1) I'm reading another book, which I will tell you about later after I'm done and 2) I'm in school and I have other readings to do first, because I'm in school and we get graded on them with quizzes and so forth.

One of the other reasons why we came down to California was to also see my 2nd cousins, who seemed like 1st cousins when we were younger. Since my mom and their dad were very very close cousins, they were best friends growing up. But we kind of drifted apart as we grew up and we didn't go out to Bakersfield as much and so on. It sure was such a great trip to see them, twice!
First was the open house in Thousand Oaks, California. We were quite late, since traffic was horrible!

Here's the thing, not only my mom and their dad were best friends, they even got married the same year AND had kids the same year too!!
Jillian & Anna
Nathaniel & Nathan
(which my brother Nathaniel's middle name is Bliss, as Nathan's last name is Bliss)
James & Emily
(Emily is the one who got married)
Kendra & Melanie
Now since my mom passed away and couldn't have more more kids, Sarah their daughter didn't have one of her age. But she did hang out with us along the way.

The Reception in Bakersfield, California

It was too cute to eat. But I did take a strawberry, I couldn't resist!

For once I didn't have to be in the group of single girls!!

THEN

NOW

On our way back to Idaho Falls!!
and our car is packed!!

In Las Vegas at a club! It's in the Cosmopolitan and Jason LOVED it, all the lights and the DJ. It was a great experience for him and for me.
