Besides work and the bridal fair Friday and Saturday, Jason and I went on a double date with these two!! Which at I-night at BYU-Idaho. I came to visit Jason as he was working there; Jason decided for me to get girl's numbers for our two single friends. So I did just that. I found this lovely lady sitting next to her friend and introduced myself and got her number!
It was cute that they were matching! |
We were all excited for this date night. We went ahead to Rexburg and drove around to look for the perfect hill. We found one, but 1) We weren't going anywhere, very steep hill that I wouldn't walk up, because it was up between our ankles and knees. I ended up crawling up. It helped! 2) It was very windy! The last slide was actually really fun, as I went real fast and caught up to Jason as he was in front of me. But it was time to go to another spot.
Jason was being a but and didn't keep his eyes open. The flash wasn't TOO bright. His eyes were closed before I press the button. |
We found another spot and it was perfect. We were able to walk up and slide down. I guess the two sledder didn't want to go down. But the one sledder, Jason and I did it wonderfully great together and we went fast!! As our friends were sitting at the bottom of the hill, Jason and I decided to go down and barry them.
They were save, don't worry. Then we chilled and looked at the stars and "satellites" which were actually planes and just talked. It was just a very comfortable spot, no wind to make us very cold. Including when Jason and I were covered in layers.
As we were driving back into Rexburg, and heading back to the road, the truck got stuck! But we got out within 2 mins.
As we were heading back, we saw that someone got stuck on the side of the road and there was another car next to it trying to push it back on the road. Jason saw and was already had his hat back on, ready to go. Since we had a truck and a rope, we pulled them out. Luckily we had extra jackets, scarves and gloves for the two engaged couple who didn't have any jackets on. The girl is from Canada and kept saying that she wished she had cash to pay us. In Canada they pay people for the help they received. Such a lovely girl, but it was okay we love helping people.
As they were save and sound, we went to Mc D's and had some hot coco/cameral and some food yummy!! We ended up playing some card games; Skip Bo. Which everyone won once!! It was the two girls first, then the boys. Jason was last to win.
It was a fantastic night and one to always remember!! The blind date between those two, was fantastic, even though it was TOO blind. They exchanged photos before the date and talked for a bit.
hahaha I cracked up at the pic with your hubby's eyes that are closed when you said he closed them before you pushed the button!! sounds like something mine would say! ;)
