There were a couple people asking when we are going to have children. Honestly, we don't know yet..
Living in Idaho there are people who ask a lot, rather than living in California and normally want us to finish school first before we have children. But ever since this new year has started, I've been thinking. What if this is the year it'll happen?! Who knows it may, or may not happen. We aren't planning on having children this year, but if it happens-it happens. Or later in the year we might have the talk and see if it's the right time to do so.
*We want to spend more time with each other, go on trips as much as we can.
*I want Jason to spend time with his guy friends who are still single!
*I know Jason and I will be great parents someday- I've watched many kids and multiple ones at once before.
*Jason is great with his niece and nephews-including on my side. They love him!
*I like to say that Jason and I are the fun aunt and uncle!!
*Jason wants to be able to stay home when we have kids.
*We want to move out of an apartment and move into a home when we have kids (It's a big apartment, but we just have too much stuff, which makes our apartment small-in my eyes)
I've prayed about having kids, but it's not time yet. But I have been inspired on when that will be.
I know my parents, mostly my dad that really wants us to have children already. Every time I call him, the first thing he asked "You're pregnant!?!" "No dad" He also wants me to have children before I'm 26 when I leave his health insurance. We may have one before then, but that'll be it.
I have thought about this subject for a few days now, but this year Jason and I are working on our personal and marriage goals first and growing closer to our Heavenly Father.
The time when we do get pregnant, we have decided to keep the gender a secret, for us and others. The only people that will know are the doctors.
We both want a boy first, even though I have a feeling that it'll be a girl first, and then our second one will be a boy. I just know it. I can't see us having girls right after another.
