Okay, I had this idea as I was in line for the Black Friday deals. Whoops!! You can use this for the rest of the deals out and about. Or just use this for next year.
My husband has been doing this for years and LOVES IT!! It literally is a sport for him. I wanted to share some tips that I have learned from my husband and that I shared with some friends and friends that I made in some lines.
Black Friday Tips:
1) Getting the Ads!
Get the newspaper adds as soon as possible. Also looking at ads online, they normally have them up at least a week before.
2) Looking through Ads!
As you are waiting for dinner to be done, look through the ads and look through the great deals that are out and about.
3) Make a plan!
Make a plan on the stores you should go to first, second and so forth.
4) Stores at the same time?
If you have a LARGE group, give each other your lists and get them at each store.
5) How many people do I need?
At least 3 people in each store. 2 people getting the gifts and 1 person waiting in line. (Unless you only need to get one thing, then just 2 people for that store is just fine)
6) 2 people getting the gifts...
If you won't be able to gather everything in your hand, have more than 2 people. Know what you want and plan how many people you need in that store.
7) That one person waiting in line...
Wait in line, if you are the next person in line to the register, let the person behind you ahead of you.
8) BRING YOUR ADS!!
If it's too bulky? Only bring the pages that you need. If there are multiple items you want on that page--get those and if you can't carry all, bring a buddy! If there are only one item on that ad--fold it.
9) Why bring your ads!?
So you can ask a worker where the item is.
10) DO NOT HAVE A CART!!
You have two hands and can hold many things, if you can't bring multiple people with you in the store to get the items you need. Carts are a big hassle and can't get through people.
This is getting long, sorry, but almost done...
11) Bring warm clothing!
Bring a hand warmer and just wear warm clothing!!
I hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were safe this Black Turkey Day and Black Friday
we wishing our sales were as good as black friday in the states :( great tips though
