Being apart=Skypeing
It happened once he left from Southern California till the time I came to Idaho to visit. Oh how lovely the prices were to fly back then!! Jason and I planned my trip to come to Idaho while Skypeing and on the phone with each other. We did this pretty much every evening. I was still living in Palmdale at the time, about to move out and into my parents house, since I was thinking about moving to get ready for the mission. I kept hearing the stories that Jason tells me of the times that he has told each of his family member about me. I loved his mom reaction!
When Jason told her about me; she was super excited. Now she wasn't too excited about the past relationships that he had, until now. She knew that I was the perfect girl for him! Yet she has never met me yet!! That meant a lot.
The first time that I met his family (Mom, Dad, his brothers Todd and Kyle) was over Skype. Literally!
Jason and Kyle copied what I had done. And those glasses (at least the ones that Jason is wearing, I had given it to him while he was on his mission)
Jason on the phone with me as he is remodeling the bathroom.
He's TOO cute. He didn't know that I had taken this photo until later.
We had Skyped in December and then again end of January till end of March. Wasn't the best being apart from him. I started to think that he wasn't real and I didn't remember what he actually looks like, even when we are Skypeing.
But the time came to when I would finally get to see him. It was after Christmas and after I came to visit people in San Jose, my home town. My best friend; Katie got to meet him--over Skype.
The day happened, my step mom and I drove all the way to Santa Maria; at like midnight from San Jose. Then gathered all of my things. Then at like 4AM we drive to Disneyland area. As I got there, Jason's friend, Bryce and his family were packing up there stuff. They had a big fan to fit everyone.
I was VERY shy, barely talked.
When I meet someone for the first time, I will shut down and won't really talk (Jason has broke that a bit)
Our first stop; St. George, Utah. Slept at a relatives house of theirs. We went to a hot tub and socked our buns. Oh it was so warm, including when we are in Utah and it's getting cold outside.
The next morning, we were on our way!! I got even more excited; Jason that same morning had left Idaho Falls to meet us in Salt Lake City. I kept texting him to see how far he is and then kept asking how far we are. (I then opened up a bit)
As the time came, as we got to Orem, I believe to drop people off I got TOO excited!! Jason got impatient and wasn't to drive further to meet up with me. So...he did just that. And we met somewhere in Orem.
As we were about to drive into the parking lot where we were going to meet; Jason's car was RIGHT in front of us!! He waved. I just got butterflies in my stomach as I see him just a few feet away. I just wanted to scream!!
AHHH!!
The time finally came as we stopped....got out of the car and.....
