The Weekend
Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the weekend. Been full on busy and didn't quite think about pictures, and also Jason needed the camera.
But this is my weekend;
Friday:
First of all, I started a new job on Tuesday. YAY!! I'm a bridal Consultant.
It's homecoming weekend for one of the high schools around here, Idaho Falls High School. So the high school boys are getting their tuxes and last minute tuxes.
Worked open to closing.
Then right after, I stopped by where Jason was working, where the governor and the major were at. This company party of some sort.
Then I went over to see my mother in-law to go and to meet up with her niece.
Fell right to sleep afterwards, I was dead tired!
Saturday:
My first Saturday at work, which means there's normally a lot of brides who come and also to take care of all the tuxes that the boys have not gotten, or have gotten for their last minute things. During the time when everything was busy, there came in a bridal who had an appointment. One girl who was already taken care of a bride, another girl who was out at the other store getting the last minute tuxes/vest and ties. Then the manager was out helping other people. It was busy...but then there's me....with an appointment bride and a walk-in bride. I had never dealt with a bride before. She ended up being my first, the appointment bride, Emily. Long story short, I sold her the dress. The 4th dress that she tried on at our store. She had another one that she loved at another store, but she choice this one!! I was super excited!! She even got a veil and a sash. Made my whole day. Made Jason's day too, I called him up over the phone and when I told him, the tone of his voice just sounded proud.
I am truly grateful for my husband and push me out of my comfort zone. Before I met him, I was seriously shy! and I just wanted to be in my comfort zone, but not anymore. Proud of him of pushing me and to become a better wife and someday a better mother. I know when that someday comes around, Jason won't even want to go to work, he will push harder on our business and be a stay at home father as well. Working from home and staying with our growing family. But that is someday in the future.
Sunday:
Honestly, we were both dead tired and didn't go to church. We couldn't even open our eyes. We had a busy week of wanting to be with each other before harvest started and to catch up on our sleep and wanted to be with each other all day. We didn't get much done on what we wanted to do that day, but we sure did get to spend time with each other. He even wanted to cuddle at the end of the day! I was surprised and extra happy about that. Got invited for lunch/dinner over at my in-law's house and got to spend a bit of time with them.
Now that the weekend is over...there is work to get done. I'm a bridal consultant as my husband will be a farmer. On my days off, I will be going out to the field, which ever one he is working on and bring him some real dinner that I had just made that evening and spend some time with him and also get to know more about harvest; as I'm a California Girl and have no clue what this is all about.
