There's the good and then there's the bad...

This week has been pretty short in a way.

Happies:
1) Jason and I have extra money to go shopping and buy an outfit. Just in time for convention!! We want to look the part. with many many million dollar club people along with stay at home business owners as Jason and I are too, but these people are a lot bigger than we are. One day Jason and I will be in those spots.

2) I have cooked and had food out for my husband to eat!!

3) Hoping my husband will promise what he said yesterday morning "I'm going to take you out for breakfast tomorrow" Not sure what he met by that, since on our anniversary, he said the same thing and we arrived at Mc.D's.....

4) Phone Interview with Hart Tux and Gowns.

5) Got our pictures from our photo shoot during our anniversary week!!

Crappies:
1) It's so hard to find a modest dress!!
I've seen dresses that cover my shoulders, but not my knees. There aren't even ones that just cover my knees but not my shoulders-which I would prefer more, since I CAN make that modest.
Oh the perks of being Mormon!! :P
I love it, minus finding a dress!!
We will be shopping in Utah. Anyone in Utah know any place to shop that has cute modest clothes/dresses?!

2) Being lazy with my husband.

With the job search this going on, it SUCKS!! Weird thing is...I'm a bit confused on what my husband wants me to do....he wants me to go get a job to bring in the money and then he says that I'm not meant to go out and have a job. What I'm getting is that every time I apply for a job, something comes up. With this Harts Tux and Gowns. One of my friends work there. It was about a month ago-when I turned in my resume, excited as can be!! Following it up-the main manager-Alex, who Jason knows and even gave him a discount on his tux along with the A&B Discount. So they say that Alex is out of town...and today STILL out of town. At least I got the phone interview finally, just after they had said that they misplaces my resume and having to email it to the store manager.

For some reason, I don't have a good feeling about this...which I am excited and once Jason is doing Harvest next month in September, I can go to work as he is too..So I will have things to do. Then again, it'll be after Convention and possibly it's just time for me to train with my mother in-law and work with her and help gain mine and mu husband's business.

(Going a little off topic, but still the same topic) I had prayed and prayed, and got an answer a month ago about kids. The answer that I got; I'm not ready to have kids right now and yes I love little kids and want one of my own, yet I'm not too excited about it right now. Just not ready. But the answer that I got was, once Jason and I have our business going; that is when we will be ready to have children. Many many of my answers have led to keeping our business and work on it (which we haven't and frustrates us) Last year we were getting ready for our wedding, and the joys of being married, then school.

We need to step up my game!!

  2. Finding modest dresses seems almost impossible. I'm glad that maxi dresses and skirts are in style. Deciding when the time is right to have a baby is extremely hard. Part of me wants to wait until I finish school, but I know that it has been said not to put off having a family for education. So many choices!

    1. Yeah...he never took me out for breakfast. I knew it...He said that he lied about it...if so it would have been Mc.D's again and taking me out to do lawns with him. I turned it down.

  4. The pictures are beautiful!

I have so been in the whole: "take you out to breakfast boat".
believe it or not, I've actually found myself at mcdonalds chowing on a mcgriddle before...

Just goes to show that boys everywhere think very similarly.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend - glad you feel like you heard about starting a family. We're praying about the same thing right now.

    1. Yeah McDonalds isn't my favorite fats food place. Would love to have a child right now, including after seeing my nephew-who is my favorite and looks like my husband when he was younger. Just makes me want a boy so bad!!

  6. It really is amazing how the Lord works... and He really does things in His own due time, even if it means waiting forever! My husband and I were married for 5 years before our little boy arrived. Granted, our situation was different (we were prepared for IVF and adoption) and didn't get pregnant for about 3 years... BUT, in hindsight, I totally understand things differently and I feel SOO grateful for the way things played out. Your photos turned out beautiful!
Utah should have some decent dresses! I know it can be so hard... Maybe that is why I wear so many cardigans?! Check out Downeast Outfitters maybe?! Good luck!
