Well we have talked it out and we are going to make it more of a priority! Along with other things in our life; scripture study and prayer. When our busy-ness takes over our lives, we don't think about the most important things in our life. It used to be so easy when it was just each other alone. We have to make time that we are both free at the same time during our busy schedule to meet up. These are the things that we need to make free time for:
- Family Home Evening
- Scripture Study (Together)
- Family Prayer (Morning and Evening) So far we are working on evening more.
- Date Night.
- Temple.
Well this week we had Family Home Evening, and invited a family friend with us, plus he has a GPS for us to use.
Friend Darrin took many pictures of us on our bikes. Glad that we now have a bike for me!!! I will be riding it a lot, including since we only have one car. So if Jason and I both have to go to work, either one of us will ride our bikes. Along with going on bike rides. YAY!
We went to go geocaching around the greenbelt. Which we couldn't find any there, plus it was getting dark out and forgot to bring our flashlights. Jason found one at the Walmart Parking Lot and I found one in the Burger King's Parking Lot (Now I'm hungry for Burger King-Yum!)
For dinner we went to Subway and stopped at one of the hotels close by with a water fountain with fire around it. It was pretty awesome.
Family Home Evening is kind of like a mini date night--which can have more people in with it.
What fun activities do you do for Family Home Evening?
Subway is a much healthier choice than Burger King.. Good job.. but uhh.. how Hungry for Burger King 'now' if already had Subway... /=o,
ReplyDeleteI haven't eaten today and today is finals day for school. I had written this during a break that I had and when I brought up Burger King, I was craving it!! :P
