Our Love Story

So there is this "From One Year to Beyond" Link-up. And this is for June, it's getting near the end, but I say, why not do the previous weeks and move forward and hopefully next month something else will happen and I will be on top of things. Including my life-with all the homework, going to school and making my husband happy and our marriage fun and exciting!

Oh I have forgotten a few details, but this is how it all started with Jason and I!! (Shorter Story)

There is this guy name Dave, Dave was one of my good friends (yes he was only my friend, never actually saw each other in that way-at least I think so) I have heard that guys and girls can never be friends, honestly...yes that can be true, but at the same time there are guys out there who don't see other girls in that way, they possibly have once in their life, but heck girls have too! But after getting to know each other more, we both see each other only as friends. Now since now I'm married, I don't have much guy friends; but only my husband's friends who of course become my friends too.

Onto the story, I just wanted to make a point.

So Dave went on his mission to Dominican Republic back in November 2009. He was trained by this handsome guy name Elder Klingler. Dave had me write to his trainer, I wrote-Elder Klingler wrote back. Yay for me. In fact-I was his very first hand written letter on his whole mission. He had left on his mission in December 2008 and I had written him April 2010. He only had about 8 months left. We made those letters to each other worth while. I even had my two good friends write to him.
As Elder Klingler came home in December 2010, we had texted each other and Facebook each other here and there. Until Dave got back from his mission and Elder Klingler/Jason had planned to come to California to visit. This was back when I had my mission call and endowments. Just after Thanksgiving, I had reconnected with him, wanted to see how he is doing, I have been thinking about him a lot lately and randomly. I texted him first just before going to work, he texted back!! we texted pretty much nonstop till he came to California and we finally saw each other in person for the first time.

We are in church, sacrament meeting, as I looked back, I see a head pop out of the window just outside of the sacrament room. I had a huge smile on my face. As Dave and Jason went to the back and sat down, I "had to go to the bathroom" and came up and left, gave Jason a huge smile. For Jason it went something like this "I got hit by a 2 by 4 as soon as she stood up" Honestly it was amazing.
Our first date-I had brought up the subject of marriage, I sure did!! Didn't regret a thing!!

(Side Note-As I am in the play called "The Music Man, Jason and I are in this song called "Shi-poo-pi" Here are some of the lyrics..

"Well a woman who'll kiss on the very first date
Is usually a hussy.
And a woman who'll kiss on the second time out
Is anything but fussy.
But a woman who waits 'til the third time around,
Head in the clouds, feet on the ground!
She's the girl he's glad he's found--she's his
Shi-Poo-Pi! Shi-Poo-Pi! Shi-Poo-Pi! Shi-Poo-Pi!"

I guess I'm a hussy...Even though it wasn't on the first date, it was the first day we met each other in person.

We had our moments through out the week, told each other, I told him my whole life story, as he told me his the next time we saw each other, on our way to Idaho (my first time) We knew each other very well and no secrets left behind. We knew each other very well.

As I was in Idaho; visiting with his friends and family, I then decided to stay home and marry this guy.

I'll end there...
