Biggest Adjustment as a Wife

What was the biggest adjustment you had to make when you became a wife?

There are a few things that I had to adjust to being a wife. In fact, Jason's wife.

To be honest, it wasn't easy. Still isn't easy.

Jason is such a hard working kind of guy and love to have me help him with the hard work. I didn't like that one bit, but I had to suck it up and help him anyways. Which honestly took me a few months to actually go ahead and do it. Every month I have been improving.

Actually picking up after my husband, never gets old. He leaves his clothes on the floor, me having to pick it up and put it away. Putting his garments on the bed while he is taking a shower, making sure he has food, giving him things that he needs...(keeping it PG) and just making sure he is always happy which is a lot of work. Making myself happy is hard work, but now having to make someone else happy as much as I'm doing it for myself. It's tough!

Now cooking, I'm not great at cooking. For Jason he is the chief in our home and it's hard to live up to that. I was never actually taught, and the foods that I do know how to make--always needs improvement or I mess it up--big time. I sure am improving, but there are times, a lot of times that I just don't want to cook. Cause' I'm just not motivated to do so.

Eating in bed and where ever I want. For Jason being a a manly man, he likes a clean home. Including a home that isn't ours. I don't like cleaning those apartments. Which goes back to hard work AND a new thing...real estate, which apartment managing is real estate in a way, cleaning the apartments and dealing with this tenants!

There are a bit more but all I do is do better on the mistakes that I have made and will continue do the best that I possibly can.
