The Past Month

This month has been going great, yet overwhelming. Jason and I still haven't fully moved in. Not until mid October, when my parents will be coming to Idaho to take the rest of my stuff from California to my new home. So ...hmm where should I start first. I guess I could start with the wedding...

THE WEDDING!

The day before the wedding, everything was going along great-we finally got the reception building and well we were late to the photo shoot over at Santa Monica beach, cause getting ready and what not. But we made it and we sure did get a lot of great pictures. Along with getting to see a friend who was also taking pictures for her wedding, and who was too getting married the next day. Afterwards, we went ahead and went to the temple, to capture the moment of our first date! Our favorite spot, someday we will bring our kids up there and take more pictures and tell them the story.

On our way to the temple, Friday August 3rd, 2012, early in the morning-just thinking...wow we are actually getting married!! We were both very excited and we just wanted to be there in the temple. And let me tell you, it was just amazing!! Lots of tears, happy tear. Also, our sealer was the same sealer as Dave and Mistie Ellsworth had. haha that was a surprise, really great surprise.

After the sealing, we went ahead and took some family photos and the wedding party. Then went out to eat lunch with friends and family. WITH my dress, but don't worry, my mother in-law gave me an apron, which worked great. After that, we headed back to the temple and took more pictures!! Saw a friend and her family getting her endowments. Later on, we needed to get going to our reception-we spent 30 mins or more on Santa Monica Blvd to get onto the freeway. HORRIBLE TRAFFIC!! But the decorations looked wonderful!

THE HONEYMOON!

We went on a road trip to Portland, Oregon.

Sunday afternoon: Drove to San Francisco, California and saw the Goldengate Bridge.

Sunday Evening: We stayed at this really nice hotel someplace near Santa Rosa, California.

Monday: We went along the 101 Freeway. Redwood Trees and Confused Hill, and lots and lots of driving!!

Monday Evening: Stayed at the most expensive and crappiest place in Coca Bay, Oregon.

                                      

Tuesday:

 Went to the beach somewhere in Oregon. Found a star fish and kept it.

Stayed the night in Portland, Oregon.

Wednesday:

Went to this one inside water park.

Then went to Voodoo Doughnuts. YUMMY!! Stayed again in Portland, Oregon.

Thursday:

Drove to Boise, Idaho. Our less expensive and better hotel!! Gave us free dinner of some sort. Had an oven, dishes, dishwasher, amazing comfortable bed AND a flat screen TV to watch the Olympics on

Friday:

Drove to Idaho Falls, Idaho and it rained. Thinking--we aren't going to have the reception outside anymore. Which we were right. Until right after we moved everything to the church building, it was sunny. Hate Idaho weather!! But I'll have to get used to it someday.

USANA CONVENTION!!

Amazing!! Had tons of fun and learned a lot!! I just cannot wait to start on our business more and get things going!! Plus we got a free iPad, yes a FREE IPAD!! Thanks USANA!! Kim even stopped by to come see us just before USANA and we decided to bring her along in with us!!

I had a lot of fun spending time with my husband and my in-laws!! <3

There's so much to say, but so little time. We don't have any internet in our home. Not until we reach our goal with our business and there's just a lot to do over at the apartments.
